In 2024, I felt called to experience a yoga retreat in Bali. I searched everywhere for something that aligned with what I envisioned, especially from a studio near me, but nothing surfaced. I even considered traveling to Bali alone to create my own version of a solo retreat—yet something in me knew the timing wasn’t quite right.

Fast forward six months: on a flight home from visiting my parents in Florida, I received an email from a FL based yoga studio that I frequent when visiting. The subject being “BALI is calling your name!”- announcing the destination for their 2025 yoga retreat. The moment I read it, I felt a full-body “yes.” I put down the non-refundable deposit within minutes. No hesitation. No talking myself out of it. I may not have known a single person going, but I didn’t allow that intimidation to stop me.

 

Trusting that instinct led me to one of the most meaningful, transformative experiences of my life.

 

I returned from Bali with new friendships, a deeper sense of self, and a clear realization: more people need access to this kind of experience. That clarity inspired the creation of Yoga.Callie Collective, LLC—a space rooted in exploration, connection, and wholehearted practice. My mission is to bring like-minded people together through meaningful retreats and community experiences that encourage adventure, growth, and joy.
